Twenty years ago today 11/11/2002, Arthur Backal took a huge risk when he left his prominent position at The Pierre Hotel and started State of the Art Enterprises. With his drive, perseverance, and industry know-how, Arthur was able to build a loyal clientele, in turn making him one of the most respected voices of the industry. SOTA's success would not be possible without Director Dawn Celovsky, the one who pulls out all the stops to pull it all together. For 20 years, Dawn has been at the forefront of State of the Art, expertly curating and managing countless momentous occasions. Her effortless can-do attitude, creative resourcefulness, and ability to stay ahead of the trends is what makes her events so momentous and memorable.
